Step 2: Understand What You’re Signing Up For
The AP-209 exam is meant for consultants working with Salesforce’s Advanced Field Service capabilities. It tests your knowledge in designing, configuring, building, and implementing Field Service features in real-world projects.

Trailhead Academy gives you two ways to take your certification exam:
- Online, from home using the OnVUE platform
- In person at a Pearson test center

- Can you take the test in a quiet, private room with no interruptions?
- Do you have a working webcam, mic, and a stable internet connection (minimum 6 Mbps)?

- Are you prepared to clear your workspace of all papers, electronics, or other distractions?
The entire session will be recorded. If someone else is seen or heard in the room—even accidentally—your test can be terminated and you won’t get a refund. That applies to unexpected background noise too. So take the room setup seriously.

You’ll receive a confirmation email with your booking details, check-in instructions, and a link to run your system test.
